What people are saying about Dubrovnik

Awesome ways to see the beautiful Bosnian countryside

The tour itself and the guide were both excellent. The sights you visit are stunning and really worth the trip through the no-so-fun borders. The waterfalls at Kravice are simply spectacular. Shame you don't get to spend longer there. The downside of the trip is that the organisation of pick-up locations is very confusing and you spend the early hours of the day (6.40am pick-up time!) asking random people if they are either on the same tour as you or if they are the right guide (as there are loads of guides milling about the Pile Gate all doing the same sort of tours in various languages for various companies. Clearer information well ahead of your trip would be much better but they only send details around 24 hours beforehand so you have to keep an eye on your emails during your holiday. However, once your on the coach / minibus it's worth it.

You just have to do this with Dubrovnik Walks

We decided to do both walks on the same day but you could easily spread it over a number off days. First we did 2 hours on the walls with the most brilliant guide, Marko. There was not this guy did not know about the history of Dubrovnik and his delivery was most entertaining. It was an extremely interesting two hours, made by the fact we had Marko!! In the afternoon we did the Old Town tour with 'Ivan the Cheesemaker'. Another extremely knowledgeable guide who knows 'not much' about cheese but thankfully a huge amount about the Old Town. Don't try to do these tours on your own, using Dubrovnik Walks with these fantastic dudes is the only way and the best way to do it.

A lovely intro to Montenegro with knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide

This tour was great for some of the highlights of Montenegro. We discovered that there is a lot more to see and the tour has inspired us to return in the future. It was well organised though a long day, but I don't think it could have been any shorted due to everything we fitted in. Our guide was great: informative, interesting and enthusiastic. She had good recommendations and engaged with everyone on the tour. I would advise anyone on this tour to bring a swimsuit and be aware that it is safe to leave things on the bus. Bring something to occupy your time at the border crossing and also wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Loved Mostar wish we could have stayed longer!

So pleased we took the tour, loved Mostar with is vibrant atmosphere, lots of little shops and restaurants at great prices compared to Dubrovnik. Wear flat shoes as the Bridge is very slippery & the town has rounded cobblestones. Go down to the river area to get great photos of the famous bridge. The waterfalls at Krevace were stunning but it was so very busy / only a short stay there but enough for a break & photo opportunities. Our guide was lovely & gave lots of information & explained about Bosnia-Hercegovina, we would definitely recommend

A very entertaining and informative tour.

Davos was our tour guide on a very hot sticky afternoon. We followed him up many many steps in the heat but it was so worth it. The views of the city are breath taking and Davos's amusing account of the historical background of the walls was very entertaining. For 2 hours he very eloquently outlined the main events of the past which have impacted on the city and the country. You will enjoy this tour - Davos is clearly very passionate and well informed about his country's history. And the walls are amazing
