What people are saying about Dubrovnik

Excellent experience with wonderful people. Recommended.

A great day. There were only the two of us on our cooking class which was fabulous. We were picked up at our apartment in Dubrovnik for the drive south to the family farm where the class was held. On the drive our wonderful driver provided a lot if info on the areas we were driving through including historical details from Roman to more recent events and current farming developments. Upon arrival we were welcomed by our delightful hosts as if we were friends dropping in for regular visit. We prepared our food in the kitchen talking and working with various family members who came and went. The farm come restaurant is mostly self sufficient growing almost all the food they need from eags, meat, vegetables, fruit, olives (they make their own olive oil) and grapes. And, yes they also make their own wine and spirits. Cheese is sourced from a cousin living nearby. The family proudly shared their history (they've been there since at least 1536) and how they maintain their way of life.

Nice tour but long delays at the border crossings

Both the waterfalls and Mostar are worth visiting. Our guide was excellent and friendly. The problem is the time it takes to get through not one, but three border crossings on the way there are then three more on the way back. We waited sometimes up to 30-45 minutes as large tour buses were processed. As a result the time spent at the waterfalls and Mostar felt a bit rushed. This is no fault of the tour company but We ended up spending considerably more time in the bus than on the ground touring. Overall I still think it’s worth the visit but wished we had spent more time at each location.

Loved Mostar wish we could have stayed longer!

So pleased we took the tour, loved Mostar with is vibrant atmosphere, lots of little shops and restaurants at great prices compared to Dubrovnik. Wear flat shoes as the Bridge is very slippery & the town has rounded cobblestones. Go down to the river area to get great photos of the famous bridge. The waterfalls at Krevace were stunning but it was so very busy / only a short stay there but enough for a break & photo opportunities. Our guide was lovely & gave lots of information & explained about Bosnia-Hercegovina, we would definitely recommend

What a brilliant way to spend an afternoon!

Such a great way to explore a new place.. Using all of your senses! I've always been a big believer in food (and wine!) Being all part of the travelling experience. When combined with learning about culture and history.. What could be better? Our guide Ana was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and even followed up our tour with a handy summary of what we had to eat and drink, along with some other recommendations for the rest of our trip. Absolutely superb and thoroughly enjoyable!

Well organized, informative tour of Waterfall and Mostar

We covered a lot of ground in this one day tour. Very informative, and a well oiled, efficient machine. I love that it was a small group tour. I could have spent a little less time at the waterfall (though beautiful) and a little more time in Mostar. Mostar was definitely a bit too rushed for me. It is worth it to check out the Turkish house add on. Very easy to book this store.
