Full description
Start the tour at 10 AM outside the Arabian Tea House near the Al Fahidi district roundabout. Then, set off to start your exploration of this vibrant historical district. Stroll through the lanes and alleyways as you begin to experience the allure of Emirati heritage and history. Marvel at the ancient buildings and enjoy the unique Arabian style of architecture.

Discover these quaint edifices which now function as cultural venues such as museums, art galleries, the events house, the coffee museum, and the restored Mohammed Sharif Sultan Al-Ulama House. Walk into the venues and explore their historic interiors. Then, pass by the Old Mosque and feast your eyes on the charming mosque architecture.

Afterwards, stop by the remains of the old enclosure wall, Dubai’s Old Wall, a historic attraction that was built around 1800 AD. Walk towards the prestigious Dubai Museum and witness the splendid relics and artifacts that exude the glory of Emirati civilization. The museum, which is located within the Al Fahidi Fort, is believed to be the oldest existing building in Dubai. Spend 30-40 minutes exploring the vast museum before moving to the next venue.

Proceed on a walk into the captivating Textile Souk and see the traditional fabrics of myriad colors. After that, ride on the Abra to cross to the other side of Dubai Creek. Experience the heartwarming aroma of spice at Spice Souks and explore exquisite gold jewelry at the Gold Souk. Meander through the gold and spice souks and experience the exciting sights and sound of Old Dubai. The tour will conclude with the souks visit, where your guide will leave you. The tour was fantastic! We learned a lot about the history of Dubai and saw some wonderful cultural sights. Our tour guide, Saul, was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the culture and history of the UAE. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are looking for good shopping areas.
