What people are saying about Dorsoduro
Nico was absolutely amazing, providing a perfect blend of food and history. This was by far the best tour we had in Venice. He not only was an amazing guide but went out of his way to make our young son (3yrs) feel included and comfortable. When I asked our son what his favorite part of Venice was, he said without hesitation: Nico!! Ours too!
For those curious we had an amazing plate of cheese, olives and meat to start - all local. Then a couple of local sweet pastries, followed by tapas style dishes and finally some ciccheti at an amazing local bar. Alongside this we got a good walking tour round areas we hadn’t seen yet. Lovely host too! Great stuff.
Alice was great to be with and learn from. She is a credit to your organisation and provided for all of our different dietary needs in what was a most enjoyable morning. Her passion for the place and the topic shone through.
Gianni was a great tour guide. We were a group of only two, so we had lots of time to ask questions. The market was fine, but my favorite part was all the great food samples.
Great tour, well worth the money. In only 2,5 hours you'll get to visit 5 local spots and try Venetian specialties from cheeses and salami to cookies to cicchetti.
