Awesome, very different from everything!

We were told many times that the Damnoen Floating Market was “made for tourists” and was “not the real thing”. But as we found out that is great news!!! Just be aware of the shops on the non-floating part! You HAVE to do the boat ride in the market (THB 150/ person)! The floating part is very different from everything you have seen, it’s awesome. The train market is cool, but not something out of this world. If you miss the train time the market itself is sucky so there’s not much to see! The guide was great, very polite and professional.

very well prepared, well organised with an exceptional staff

My wife and myself feel lucky that we found this company for this tour. It was very well prepared, it was on time, the local staff was great. The guide lady gave us very good information not just about the tour but about Bangkok and Thailand too. She spoke english very well. The minivan was comfortable, the boat ride was fun and the market was a very good choice to see. I can recommend this service / company as they did a very good job. Thanks for them here again!

I am extremely happy with the services provided and the overall tour.

I had booked last minute but I am happy that the tour worked out on 28th April. The entire arrangement was very good and reasonable. If I had not gone to the floating market in Damnoen Saduak, I would have missed out an important aspect of knowing Thailand. We had a very good guide.

Excellent guide, highly recommended tour

First off, the meeting point is very easy to get using the MRT. After waiting in the air conditioned office for the tour to start, we jumped straight into the minibus that parked right outside. Our guide Tee gave a great insight into Thai culture on the way to the markets and was very enthusiastic. He also prepped us well for when we did get to the markets with good advice on where to buy cheaper items and food. On the way to the markets, we stopped at a coconut farm where they produce brown sugar and they treated us to a few samples of the sugar and other products they make using the coconuts. You can also buy these after. At the markets, you jump straight to the front of the queue for the motor boats so no waiting in the heat. Tee then showed us the good stalls and left us to roam for around an hour and a half. The farmers boat extra is worth it, a great experience of how the locals buy and sell their produce. Overall, excellent organisation and we had a great time. Thanks.

Fantastic tour - would highly recommend!

We booked this tour after realising that some of the central Bangkok floating markets are weekend only, our stop in Bangkok was during the week. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, travel to and from the market was made very pleasant with air conditioned bus, informative guide (we had Sara, she was fantastic!) and a stop on the way at a sugar farm. The tour price included a boat journey into the market through the interlinking canals. The market itself was vibrant and bustling with a huge variety of floating market vendors selling everything from food (would highly recommend the coconut ice cream!), drinks, hats to souvenirs and spices. It’s definitely worth paying the 150 baht to get on a small boat to take you round the market once you get there.
