Fun Activity but Tour Title is Misleading

So if you book your tour through this site, a few things to know - the "3-hour rental" is not actually a 3-hour rental of the GoCar, it's the "accessibility" of the car from 9am to 12pm. But the office in SF doesn't open until 9am, then you have to fill out waivers and other paperwork, then wait in line, then watch a safety video, then get fitted for helmets, and if you're lucky, you'll be in your GoCar by 10am. The GPS-guided route we took was super fun and informative, and allowed us to see things in SF in a memorable way. Remember to bring an extra sweatshirt as there's typically a marine layer along the coast that can make it pretty chilly in the morning. The route was long, even without stopping, so we didn't get back to the drop off until after 12:00. We would've had to pay extra but the manager waived it for us since we had such a late start (thank you!). I would do this activity again but will probably rent for the day next time so we won't be pressed for time.

Wonderfully comprehensive tour of San Francisco and the Muir Woods.

High quality tour perfect for those new to San Francisco and looking for a comprehensive overview of the city. The company is extremely well-organized - I received an email from the company five minutes after booking with Getyourguide with a detailed explanation of the tour and pickup location, a video with an overview of the tour, and a list of recommended places to eat and explore near where the tour picks up and drops offs. The driver was friendly and funny, the vehicle was clean, and I learned a lot about San Francisco's most important neighbourhoods and areas. It was a great mix of good information without getting boring, with plenty of stops for bathrooms and pictures. I love the Muir Woods and I really appreciated the time we got to spend there. At the end of the tour, we made it up to a beautiful viewpoint where we got incredible photos of the Golden Gate Bridge and city skyline. Highly recommend!

Wonderful full fun day seeing all the highlights of the city.

Our guide “Ro” was so kind and informative. Perfect size bus. Every stop was well timed, his recommendations for our stay in the city were spot on. It was a perfect first day in the city and going to Muir Woods was magical and spiritual. My only suggestion for making this tour beyond awesome would be to add another 1/2 hour for the Muir Woods portion. The stop in Saulsolito was perfect including the deli recommendation. Just 30 more minutes in the Woods would be perfection. And the sound track coming back from the Woods was a great touch!

I definitely recommend this to family and friends.

We had a rough start in the beginning trying to figure out how to use the GoCar, but San Francisco's drivers seemed rather patient with us as we were getting our bearings, so it felt very safe. The GPS guide was fun to follow too, and we learned a lot about San Francisco's landmarks along the way. My advice would be to go for the all-day package and start in the morning so you can have all day to spend time at all the sights for as long as you want and at your own pace.

Awesome! A must do on your vacation! Wheelchair accessible!

It was super fun and we learned a lot from the audio narration around the bay. It is everything you want to see starting at pier 40 1/2 but right next to pier 39 (shopping and food) to the coast around the bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. For a great activity worth the admission for a great hour cruise. It’s a must do family activity! I’m also in a wheelchair so it is very safe and accessible!
