Our guide, a local Catalan, Vicente, provided detailed, clear and interesting historical information about Girona, Pals and Costa Brava's traditional village, Caella. He was also very flexible to accommodate my husband's limited mobility by giving us the free time to explore Girona's famous landmark (church) where scenes from "The Games of Thrones" were filmed. Vicente's great sense of humor really made this tour superb! Our driver, Joaquin, was very cautious and made us all feel safe. I will definitely recommend this day excursion to my relatives and friends! Kudos to the duo, Vicente and Joaquin!
Interesting trip. Best enjoyed by experienced kayakers. However there was very little marine life to see while snorkeling in a cove....just sea urchins and not much else. Water is pretty cool, so wetsuit is essential. Water clarity is ok, not great. Went out in early October, so weather may not be as great. Noon start time is probably better than the 8am tour. Great beach for windsurfing. Pickup location is at a bar with no signage for the kayak tour, which may confuse people looking
A well-organized day out to the beautiful Costa Brava, just over an hour north if Barcelona by bus. Groups of no more than 12 head out in double kayaks to explore the gorgeous rock coves and crystal clear waters right off the beach. A fantastic day out and the guides make the whole experience really accessible--and they take lots of fotos so you don't have to worry about your camera/phone getting wet.
We were informed one day prior that our tour would be moved due to the sea conditions. The operaters were very friendly, they offered to refund the full tour or move the tour to another time. All of us really loved it! Great staff, great spots!! Kayaking was great, however, there is not much to see when it comes to snorkeling. All in all definitely a must-do!!
The day started off rainy in Barcelona, but cleared up as we reached our first destination. Highly recommend! Sweet tour guide, easy to find the pickup. Wish we had a little longer in the first destination. Refunded 10 euros per person because the waters were too rough to go on the boat tour, but still very enjoyable.
