Full description
Depart on the spectacular Coromandel Coastal Walkway from Stony Bay to Fletcher Bay with the assistance of an expert local driver-guide. The famous 3-4 hour walk is the only thing that links the east and west coast roads together on the far north tip of the peninsula.

The track climbs gradually from Stony Bay through native forest with beautiful glimpses of the ocean on the way to a lookout. From there the tree canopy opens up to the coastal cliff tops and spellbinding views to Great Barrier Island and the Hauraki Gulf.

The final stage is a picturesque downhill stroll through coastal farmland to Fletcher Bay where a guide will be waiting with coffee, tea, and biscuits. You will also have the opportunity of completing an extra 1-hour Muriwai Track from Fletcher Bay to Port Jackson or simply enjoying time on the beach in Fletcher Bay.

The coastal drive back along the dramatic granite coastline past the ancient Pohutukawa trees provides the perfect finish for the day.
