What people are saying about Cordoba

Cordoba by night on an electric bike -- awesome!

We had been wanting to get around some of the cities we visited by bike, but hadn't had any luck until we got to Cordoba. It turned out that we were the only two on the tour, and we were treated to a magnificent ride around Cordoba at night, with frequent stops to hear about local legends and rumors. Our guide, Javi, was excellent -- very patient with two seniors who'd never been on electric bikes before (they're really fun once you get used to the quick acceleration!). He spent over two hours with us, taking us through the Jewish Quarter, by the Mezquita, across the old Roman bridge, and past numerous churches and other monuments. Riding across the cobblestones through narrow and winding streets at night, when the heat of the day had subsided, was a wonderful adventure. I would highly recommend this activity!

Loved everything about it, Olivia was a fantastic guide!

It was really easy to purchase the tickets online, our guide (Olivia) was waiting for us at the meetingpoint. Only feedback I am giving: it was hard to recognise who was our guide because we expected there to be a logo on her clothes, but there wasn't. Our guide gave us a listening device and earplugs. During the tour she talked through the microphone, we really liked this system because she didn't have to scream to be heard and we didn't have to walk close to her all the time to be able to hear her. This made it easy to make pictures for example. Olivia was such a great guide, during our 2 hour tour we didnt feel bored at all. It was really really interesting and her voice was nice to listen to. She answered all our questions and at the end gave us a coupon for free soup (traditional Spanish cold soup).

Our guide Juan was great, & having a guide made the visit much better

Went w/my husband & 11y/o & couldn’t get tickets online without getting the ones that included the guide. I had read that the live could be long for general tickets & didn’t want to take a chance missing this & we only had 1 day in Cordoba. As it turned out there was a short line for general admission & cost was much less than guided tour (5 Euros vs 17 w/the guide) That being said, we realized that walking through the place without a guide would not have been as good. Our guide made it much more enjoyable and informative!

An excellent informative historical tour

Really enjoyed listening to the in depth historical knowledge from our guide Stephanie... she had an intensive knowledge about the Mosque Cathedral as she was born and raised in the city and we could feel the love she had for her city. She gave us a beautiful informative tour and we really enjoyed how comfortable she made us feel. Thank you Stephanie. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in Muslim history in Al Andalucia.

Mezquita-AMAZING, Alcazar de Christianos-Interesting, Synagogue-OK

Took train from Sevilla to Cordoba for the tour. Tour guide Inma was great. The Mezquita was spectacular, perhaps one of the most beautiful/historic/amazing sites I've every seen. The Alcazar was interesting. Inma did a great job bringing it alive. The Synagogue was OK. If you're coming to Cordoba for the day, then a visit to all three is worthwhile. If you're there for non-vacation reasons, make the Mezquita your number one place to see.
