What people are saying about Convento di San Francesco del Deserto
Incredibly, Venice is not a very spectacular subject for a night cruise (wrt to NY or Paris). Yet, the trip was really worthy because of the restaurant. The products are excellent and the cooking really respectuous of their genuine taste. Both fish and meat (they cared about my wife’s intolerance) were perfect. The young waiter had an equally rare balance between distance and frendliness. The crepe course that could be sacrificed, and the music a bit loud are stealing the 5th star.
This is booked as a start to my 30th Birthday and my goodness it was the best dinner cruise my fiancee and I have ever experienced!!! we were sat on the stern of the ship with amazing views and a very helpful waiter an young lad called Alex, he was great! now the food all 9 courses yes I said 9!!! 10/10 Perfection... nothing has ever come close to a perfect dinner cruise yet! thanks again guys you have out done yourselves!!!
We were about 4 couples that wasn't sure if the meeting point was right as there was no signage but once we spotted the Jolly Roger we were relieved. The boat cruised around the bay, the weather was perfect, the food kept on coming (8 course meal ) and was delicious one after the other! the service and the atmosphere was perfect. Thank you for an amazing evening. Well worth it!
This was the best activity that we did in Venice. The food was amazing and gave us the chance to try lots of different fish courses that we haven't had before. It was really cosy and romantic and the views were great. The amount of food and drink along with the relaxing tour of the lagoon make it great value for money too. Would recommend to anyone!
Lovely alternative night tour of the lagoon, food was lovely. My only criticism is It would have been nice to be told when we were approaching significant places to enable good photo opps on the upper deck. I understand that this interrupts your eating though.
