Our Guide was Amazing and So Knowledgeable of Panama

Our Guide Din, explained the history of the Panama Canal that really helped my daughter to understand why I wanted her to visit. Din was also great with the Monkeys on the island, which was the highlight of our day. Our Guide was determined to get them to come back out and visit us, after a tour before us had fed them. Our Guide was helping the boat director make the sound, so the Monkeys would come back and eat more bananas and play with us. We had a wonderful day, thanks to our Guide who spoke perfect English. We will come back to Panama and definitely request Din, sorry we did not get his last name. He was so kind and friendly, we felt like we had been knowing him forever. Please tell him, Johnnie and Vashti really enjoyed our visit to Panama, because of him and we will be back.

Excellent trip and with a wonderful guide Cesar. His passion and knowledge shone through from start to finish. Great communication keeping in touch on route to pick up. Professional service. First stop at Miraflores Lock we had chance to see large container ship going through the locks. The boat ride down the river we saw 3 large heavily loaded cargo ships pass by, amazing to see such good navigation. We got see lots of wildlife on the boat tour including several monkeys who joined us on the boat. Cesar went above and beyond with bringing along nuts and bananas for us to feed the monkeys. A air conditioned car throughout the journey and water was provided. Highly recommend this trip and in particularly Cesar

My husband and I had a great day with our guide, Mario, and his spotter Julietta (she was on the lookout for monkeys, sloths, etc.) I learned a lot about the history & geography of Panama. Saw the Aqua Clara locks, watched the short movie there and watched a large ship move through the locks from Gatun Lake. We loved seeing Fort Lorenzo and reading about the history there. Mario was a fun and knowledgeable host and guide. We saw both a two & thee toed sloth and a family of howler monkeys in the tree tops, two types of hawks and an iguana. Our group was small, 6 guests, and were picked up at our hotel. Perfect day!

Enjoyed seeing the expanded locks at Agua Clara, going across the Canal via ferry and driving back across the locks (which soon will be replaced by a bridge), and seeing wildlife on the drive. We stopped at a grocery store towards the beginning of the trip to buy snacks. The tour bought water at that stop and later provided watermelon. Juliette the driver made sure we saw a sloth and many birds and monkeys, while our guide Elvis shared some info on the drive about the Canal and came into the fort with us. Both were very friendly. Wish that this tour also included a boat ride across Lake Gatun!

This tour was wonderful - Cesar, our guide, followed all safety protocols which made us feel at ease. Cesar gave us extensive history and facts on the Panama Canal, the Canal Zone, and other interesting tidbits on Panamanian history throughout the tour. He was also very knowledgeable about the different animal and plant species we encountered on the tour, and made sure our Monkey Island visit was memorable! We boated by different locales searching for different species, and he and our boat captain did a great job spotting different animals and giving us facts about each one.
