Finally, you will travel back towards Cusco to rest.

After traveling for approximately 3 hours by van, you will arrive at the high mountain pass of Malaga where you will start your descent by mountain bike. You'll pass through small villages, orchards, rivers, and streams, before reaching the town of Huamanmarca at around 1:30PM. From there you will continue by bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the town of Santa Maria. Following a short break and lunch, you will begin a rafting trip for 2 hours, encountering class III and IV rapids whilst always accompanied by a professional safety kayak which will watch over the group.

Day 4: Santa Maria, Santa Teresa (Trekking)

Following your wake-up call at around 6:00AM, you'll savor a typical breakfast whilst immersed in nature before departing for a trek. You'll walk along the banks of the river before climbing for 30 minutes, eventually meeting up with the original Inca trail. On your way you will see small coffee plantations, fruit trees, and an abundance of flora and fauna such as birds and orchids. From there you will descend for about 2.5 hours before arriving to the village of Qellomayo for lunch. After a rest you will continue hiking for 3 hours, traversing farms, waterfalls, and rivers until arriving at the Cocalmayu hot springs. Following a relaxing bath, you will walk for 40 minutes to the town of Santa Teresa for the evening's dinner and lodging.
