This is a tour for those looking to experience the vitality and excitement of Chicago, America’s third largest city. At Richard J. Daley Plaza you will stop to admire the Pablo Picasso sculpture, created specifically for Chicago before taking a ride on Wacker Drive, the double-decked thoroughfare that winds its way under the city.
The famous white Wrigley Building announces the beginning of the Magnificent Mile, and Michigan Avenue, home to Chicago’s most exclusive stores, including the Water Tower, an elegant seven-level shopping complex. Next door is the John Hancock Center, one of Chicago's iconic landmarks it has the world’s fastest elevators just 39 seconds to take visitors to the 94th floor 360 Chicago Observation Deck.

From here, on a clear day, you can view four states - Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin.
On a journey through Lincoln Park you can admire thousands of acres of greenery, lagoons and flowers. You will also see Wrigley Field - the home of the Chicago Cubs baseball team (visits not on game days) - the Botanical Gardens, Chicago Historical Society, Newberry Reference Library, and an Indian Totem Pole.

One of the highlights of the tour is the Art Institute of Chicago, renowned for having the largest collection of impressionistic art. Nearby is the Field Museum of Natural History, famous for the size and scope of its collections.

The tour will continue through the beautiful Jackson Park, where the Colombian Exposition of 1893 was held to celebrate the founding of America. Following this you’ll pass through the University of Chicago, with its elegant English style architecture.

Stunning views but additional extras.

Amazing 360 viewsober chicargo. We went just before sunset so got to see views in day and night light. Not planned - just very good timing. The tilt experience was at an additional cost of $8 pp extra. There seems to always to additional cost to tourists attractions. When you think you have paid.... Also, Visional observation that tourists attractions seemed to be run by very young and inexperienced teenagers who are stuck in their phones and not paying much attention to anything.

Great experience despite the wrong name

The city tour showed everything important on a route that was understandable on a city map, so that later it was easy to visit certain sights yourself. However, the name of the tour is wrong: it is not an STAR STAFF, but the viewing platform of the former "Sears Tower", today's "Willis Tower". Since the tour was recommended and booked by our travel agency, we knew about it.

Buying tickets online was awful--could not download the app to add tickets to my mobile phone. Finding the meeting site was difficult due to construction around the intersection. When I finally got to the underground garage, the woman handling tickets was rude and not helpful. Then I discovered that the tour does NOT stop at the 360 Observation site, but that we have to get there on our own. Tour guide was difficult to understand. This Greyline tour is a scam!
