What people are saying about Charleston
Scott our guide was wonderful--knowledgeable and funny. Barry was a great horse. We were so happy that we took the tour! We recommended to others at our hotel and they were happy with the tour as well.
The “foodie” tour is always the first thing we do in a new city. It’s a great orientation to the sites and history and a very tasty introduction to eating places around town.
Did the Charleston Harbor tour and it was great. A lot of cool history and a fun boat ride for the little one.
We weren't sure what to expect when we signed up for this food tour, but boy were we surprised. Each of the food venues (Smoke BBQ, Virginia's on King, and Sixty Bull Café) were excellent and we enjoyed the best food of Charleston including smoked chicken wings, She Crab Soup, Pimento Cheese Spread, Flounder Po Boy Sandwich and Shrimp and Grits. Our Guide Andrew was knowledgeable, shared an abundance of the history of Charleston and guided us through many historic sites in Harleston Neighborhood, the College of Charleston, and sites on King Street. One of the best tours we have had in our travels in the US and Europe.
Al not only made the look at Charleston interesting but provided insights that enhanced the historical significance of this city. He adjusted his tour to match the interest of the group. I have been on several tours of this type and this was one of the best.
