Tour Content was very good but Guide (Antonio) needs to work on skills

Overall tour content was very good and organization was excellent. Venues visited are exceptional and make the tour worthwhile. We missed the other larger coaches going to the Catacombs by going there first. Our group beat the rush at that venue. Very nicely done. Guide at Catacombs very knowledgeable and excited about her job. We had 2 French ladies on our tour that needed French translations which our guide (Antonio) provided very nicely. However, he didn't outline to the group very well that he would need to provide narration in English and then in French. A man from Miami, Florida become upset with Antonio giving 'too much' explanation in French. Thought guide was spending more time in French when he should concentrate on the 95% of the group that spoke English. Antonio should have given the English details and asked the English to move to 'next spot' while he outlined details in French. Keep English busy while doing providing French. Organizational skills need some work.

A wonderful half day on the outskirts of Rome.

My second trip booked with get your guide and yet again it did not disappoint. Our guide 'Lara croft archaeologist and historian' was a mind of fascinating information and incredible knowledge. The whole trip was so well organised from the meeting point to when they dropped us off. The catacombs were definitely worth a visit and then the little trip up the appian way was lovely but the highlight for me was the trip down to the aqueducts. The amazing coach driver literally squeezing the coach under the bridges and then a short walk out in beautiful surroundings to admire the architecture of the actual aqueducts was an unforgettable experience. A small group tour again! I can not recommend doing your tours through this company enough they are simply the best.

An informative and enjoyable journey through time

This trip was a great change of pace for us after several frantic days walking our feet off in Rome. The Catacombs were fascinating, the aqueduct stunning in its level of technical achievement, and walking on the original stones of the Appian Way was very moving. Our guide, Marije was intelligent, well-informed and interacted in a personal and cheerful way with our small group.

Wonderful opportunity to see Roman marvels and the countryside!

Such an informative tour! Lara was a superb guide- I learned so much, and the trip had so much beauty. So close to Rome, and yet you feel as if you were miles away. There are steps- so make sure can go up and down stairs. I walk with a cane, but I could still do them.

3 Sites in 3 hours Great way to see a lot in a little time

The tour was prompt, the tour guide was very personable as well as knowledgeable. He kept us on track but made sure we did not feel too rushed. The bus driver did a great job getting us to and from each site. Well done!
