Be picked up and dropped off at Casablanca hotels
Your driver will pick you up at 7:00 AM from your hotel in Casablanca. You will then make the 300-kilometer driver to Fez in a comfortable, private vehicle. Upon arrival in Fez, enter the UNESCO-listed medina through Bab Boujloud, also called the Blue Gate. Then visit the Bou Inania Medersa, a renowned theological college built by a Merenid sultan.
Follow a maze of winding streets to the Nejjarine Fountain, the oldest fountain in the city. Walk along a picture-perfect esplanade, and take in the Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts and Crafts, which is built in a restored caravanserai where traveling merchants would spend the night with their camels and goods.
At the heart of old city life is a network of fascinating souks. Visit an artisan’s workshop, pretty squares, and long rows of stalls selling everything from fresh spices to handicrafts from around the country. Before returning to Casablanca, visit the Merenid Tombs, a 14th century landmark that command gorgeous views of the Sebou Valley. After visiting the tombs, begin the return trip to Casablanca, where you will be dropped off at approximately 6:00 PM.
