What people are saying about Casa Museo y Monumento al Campesino

Great value, excellent guide, saw most of the island.

This is not a tour to actually walk around the volcanoes (you need to book a “hike around the volcano” tour for that) but gives a good background knowledge of them. The demonstrations of the heat from the trapped magma were amazing and educational. Going around the lava beds and volcanoes by coach was a fantastic incite showing the different formations caused by lava and gas which had come from the volcanoes during their eruptions in the 1730s. The vineyard part of the tour was good for wine lovers as you get to try some local wines and the way they grow the vines is very ingenious. Finally the Jameos del Agua was unbelievable. How someone can see a cave that was once full of the locals rubbish, and then create a wonderful place to eat and provide a great venue for parties and weddings was incredible, and the bonus of an auditorium with its great acoustics - outstanding.

It is a long day in the hot sun, theres no escaping the fact, but it was very interesting and definitley made me want to explore more of the island. Out guide, Antonio was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Fantastic!! Extremely great value for the money.

Tour guide and driver were amazing, we enjoyed the tour and found information presented in a fun and interesting way .. Great value for money! We also recommended the tour to other hotel guests! Thank you Low Cost Tours.

Three stars would be true reflection of this tour.

We arrived at the camel park, we did not wish to ride them, we were not told by the guide that there was a restaurant and toilets there, these were not in plain site from the coach park, we were not told we would be there something like an hour, . Timanfaya National Park, we saw the demonstrations, the guide tried to rush the group back to the coach, more time there would have been good. We were then taken back to Restaurant El Campo, where we stopped for coffee and to pick people up who had come from Playa Blanca, not the village location we were told online, Mancha Blanca, where the famous church is, one of the main reasons we chose this tour. 8 euros for buffet lunch with wine and water. We didn't want this, so we paid 15.50 euros for 2 coffeeS, 2 rolls, 2 bags of crisp RIP OFF. Our coach had gone to pick up school children! We went to Mancha Blanca, again rushed back to coach! onward to another café, with a good view, The caves were spectacular, a long day!! Did not like guide!!!!

A great day trip lots to see and a Very good guide

Really enjoyed the day. Very interesting lots of good information from the guide. Plenty of stops for refreshments etc. I have a gluten free diet and the restaurant on our lunch stop provided an excellent meal. The guide was one of the best we have encountered, nothing was to much trouble for him. My husband and I have booked 2 further trips with this company, I highly recommend this company. I give this trip 5 stars
