What people are saying about Carvoeiro

A fun and adventurous way to see the Benagil Cave.

Mario was a great guide on this exciting trip. After a short safety and instructional chat on the beach we were paddling along the sea cliffs. High tide and chopping conditions made it quite exciting, especially landing and departing from the beach in the cave. Be prepared to get cold and wet, and make some graceless exits from your kayak! The worst thing was the sheer number of powered boats in the water but the best thing was feeling superior as we paddled our own kayak. We met Mario at his truck parked in front of tiny Benagil beach where we collected a life jacket and paddle before heading down to the water. I recommend this tour to anyone with a little fitness and a sense of adventure.

Exceptionally Entertaining and Educative

I can hardly think of any other better way of spending the day and that money. You learn a lot at the same time have a lot of fun. Just brilliant.

Great adventure - way better than any of the non-sportive tours

Great instructor, got all of us to master the boards in spite of our lack of talent! Showed us even more caves than we had paid for and took marvelous pictures!

The coastline from Albufeira is something to be seen by boat

I really enjoyed the boat trip and the amazing views of the clifts and caves along the way. To me I saw fascinating scupture almost the whole lengh, naturally formed.

Really lovely day out on the sea exploring the amazing coastline!

We didn't really know what to expect and as there were a few boats coming and going collecting people that morning we werent sure which one was ours.. until I noticed the parrots id seen in the advert for the trip! Once on board we were soon off, introduced to the friendly parrots, with a chance to hold them and take pictures with them... we had some good music playing, offered an ice tea foc or you could buy drinks (not a bar as such). The boat was more like a small converted fishing boat and if you needed the loo there were steep steps down to a small *very* low down toilet which you had to flush but leave paper in a bin.... ok in some cases but i wouldnt like to get caught out needing anything solid if you catch my drift!!!! Its a traditional boat, not a pleasure boat, but that added to the experience so we were happy. The weather was perfect and the scenery was breathtaking - we cruised alongside caves, some that you could go into and out the other side with little beaches.
