What people are saying about Carrickfergus
Apart from struggling initially to locate exactly where my coach would be amongst the scrum in Glengall street, and a rude passenger next to me who wanted to sit in one and a half seats (he changed coaches at Carrickfergus which was a relief) this was an excellent experience. Very well organised. I particularly like the way passengers have the choice of paying exactly nothing more if they bring a packed lunch and don’t want to go on the rope bridge or visit the visitor centre at the Giant’s Causeway. I did, and benefitted from the discount for those attractions and having an excellent meal at the lunch stop. The driver/guide was knowledgeable with a cheery, helpful, careful driver and the coach itself was very comfortable. Excellent value for money to reach these places which aren’t really possible to get to in one day on public transport. Definitely recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the conversations and the guides sense of humour was a bonus. I could have done with a little more pause (less talking) to enable me take in the information shared and the beauty of the scenery as we journeyed from one place to another. Enough time given. Didn't enjoy the lunch at Fullers at all. Would book the tour again and recommend it. Great value too.
Excellent tour with Michael! We visited many beautiful towns on the way to the Giants Causeway, and stopped off in spots where GOT was filmed. We had a fabulous day- it was the highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland, and would recommend 100% to all!
Brilliant tour conducted by Patrick who is brilliant driver and courier all in one. The day went smoothly and there is plenty to see and do in the time allocated. Exceptional views and scenery throughout the tour. Well done Patrick and tour company.
THIS WAS A BRILLIANT DAY AND VERY GOOD VALUE. WE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE AND OUR GUIDE MOIRA WAS BRILLIANT VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND YOU COULD TELL SHE HAS A GREAT LOVE FOR IRELAND. OUR DRIVER WAS GREAT SOME VERY NARROW ROADS BUT NOT A BOTHER TO HIM
