What people are saying about Carmona
I had to call Germany day before to find the pick up location for the bus. Local phone never answered. The guide Miguel was excellent and although we were the only couple with option to see Carmona after Cordoba they decided to treat rest of the group for free since we paid for the side trip. Bus was fine and the Cordoba guide was okay. We were lucky, the temperature in Cordoba was only 33 Celsius. Cordoba is about 2 attractions Jewish Quarter and Mosque pretty much, but the Mosque is immense.
The Cardoba and Carmona trip was a long day, but it was very worthwhile. The guides were very friendly. The guide in the mosque gave a vey detailed history of the mosque, she was very knowledgeable. The Mosque is stunning and well worth a visit. The different religious artefacts seem to blend in well together, it is a pity the world religions couldn't replicate this. Carmona was very quiet, but it was interesting to see the remains of the Roman influence.
First, Carlos was a history teacher by education. He was personable and engaging. Eeveryone in our group of 14 enjoyed his company on this 10 hour trip. Secondly, Cordoba was a welcomed break. The Muslim temple is beyond description. The walking tour of Cordoba was wonderful. Carmona was an added bonus. The bus was excellent. I would recommend this tour and in fact would take it again.
We had excellent trip...Guide was very helpful but doing the tour with audio guide inside the main area of Cordoba was a disappointment. With bilingual tour it wastes too much time on short trip like this..I do not know if this is because you do not get enough members..
This was a very enjoyable tour! I would recommend it to my friends !the guide was very knowledgeable it was a good day! I have not been to Carmona before and that was a surprise very interesting city .
