What people are saying about Carmel
This tour was all around fantastic... the sights, staff, and fellow passengers. Dorit, our tour guide, was funny, friendly, and made our time together all the more enjoyable with her exceptional photography skills. My friends found it hard to believe that we did so much in three days. I don't know any other tour that includes visits to all the major landmarks in Santa Barbara, Carmel, Solvang, San Francisco, and Yosemite. The visit to Yosemite was what I was looking forward to the most and it did not disappoint. We saw Bridal Veil, Tunnel View, Half Dome, El Capitan and had time to do a hike and have lunch. The group of people were super chill, very respectful and friendly towards each other. Even when unexpected situations occurred (e.g. no translator for the Italian couple, 'dry breakfast' at the Clarion), Dorit handled it quickly and professionally. Sam was an excellent, safe driver and such a gentleman. I'd take this tour again.
It was a very well organized and informative tour. I took the tour at 8:00am on Friday 4th of May and enjoyed it to the max over the 11 hours of the tour time. The driver was such a nice and experienced guy. He helped us enjoy the scenery all over the road. If you really want to see the best of California, jut take this tour! Well done Grayline.
We booked with different tour. But ended up with another one Very confusing with out notice to us plus took extra time and travel Fortunately our guide was great and made up for some of it Carmel stop was a waste of time
Fred provided phenomenal service. He's knowledgeable and quickly understood what we were looking for on our tour, made great suggestions on how to get the most out of our day. Highly recommend!
The scenery was wonderful and our driver/guide's commentary made the time fly. Nature provided the incredible backdrop for a great day.
