What people are saying about Cardiff
The Wye Valley is beautiful and worth seeing on top of the magnificent Tintern Abbey. I was surprised by the Roman ruins, especially the amphiteater which was huge and well preserved. The itinerary as a whole was excellent and paced just right. I loved the smaller buses, and appreciated the musical accompaniment that was selected for us. By far the best part was our driver and tourguide, Adrian. He had the rare ability to animate history, giving us not just a sense of the bigger historical picture, but also the small details that are frequently left out. He is a wonderful person, full of Welsh charm, a delight to talk and listen to. He also took good care of us, drove carefully, patiently explained things to us, and kept us entertained for the entire day.
On line said I must book on line and print voucher. difficult when a tourist. When arriving at designated stop told I could pay cash and board at any stop and there is one outside my hotel. Wanted the Sun. but on line said was full. On speaking to drivers was told Sunday was quiet so could have enjoyed it more and get off to explore as I had a lot more time.
I absolutely loved the chance to see more of Wales with this trip! Adrien, our guide and driver, was fantastic- charismatic and full of amazing knowledge of Welsh history, it was a pleasure to learn more about the area and hear his stories! The Gower peninsula is gorgeous and I loved the seaside hike!
THE TOUR IS VERY INFORMATIVE. THE TOUR PROVIDED A RICH AND PROUD HISTORY OF CARDIFF AND WALES IN GENERAL. I HAVE STRONG WELSH ANCESTRY AND ENJOYED THE TOUR. I PLAN TO RETURN TO WALES AND WILL TAKE THIS TOUR AGAIN.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable about every part of the tour. Also had a great funny personality. The walk on the cliff at Mumbles bay was on of the highlights of the day. Recommend this tour.
