Everything went very well. The pick up was on time and the boat trip was amazing. We were not too many people on board and could move around quite easily. The guides were very informative and fascinating us with detailed information. We did not by far see all animals mentioned in the description of this trip. For me this was fine as it depends on nature. I mention it to manage expectations of persons who are still thinking whether to book or not. We came close to penguins and whales and had enough time to take pictures and to enjoy these great creatures. We did not have time for lunch and headed back straight after the two hour boat trip. Water and a snack was offered on the way back to the harbour. therefore 4 instead of 5 stars.

Incredible experience

Our driver charlton was a great guy. Picked us up on time and told us loads about the areas we drove through on our way to Hermanus. The skipper and boat crew were very knowledgeable and respectful of the ocean and the whales. We saw southern right whales, and even had a mother and her calves come right up to the boat and stay with us for about 20 minutes. We had the most amazing time and would highly recommend it!

It would be fair if this tour is no longer booked in November. We have not seen anything. Very disappointing. It was said that now is the end of the season. They better say that the season has long since ended. We have paid a lot of money for a boat trip. And then the captain offers a voucher .... as if I can pay for a vacation to South Africa again within a few years ??? Our advice: are you going in November? DON'T BOOK We are very disappointed.
