Full description
Be collected at your accommodation at 9:00 AM. Head along the Paarl Wine Route, renowned for its rich full-bodied spicy reds and crisp white wines, the second oldest in the country. Known for the quality of its Shiraz, the climate in particular flavors this variety. Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinotage, Viognier, and Mourvedre are increasingly well regarded.

Your first stop is at Avondale, where you will explore some organic and bio-dynamic wines. Take a stroll through the cellar room. Then, enjoy a gastronomic lunch. Continue your tour and drive to Mullineux, a highly focused family winery based near the village of Riebeek Kasteel, in the Swartland. This winery produces a select range of hand-crafted wines from the granite and shale-based soil of the area.

Complete your tour with an MCC tasting and walk in the rose garden at Le Lude, in the picturesque Franschhoek Valle. Then, drive back to your accommodation.
