The Citypass is a smooth way to get around in Venice!

We had some problems initially to convert the voucher into tickets. It took the personel about an hour (and 3 persons) to check that our voucher wasn't false (they said). I showed them a printed version and the digital one in my phone. The Vaporetto is a fast way to get around in Venice. The Alilaguna is much slower, but takes you from Mureno to Lido (and to the airport). It doesn't show when you buy the ticket if the entrance to the Dodge palace is "skip-the-line" (is it?). We didn't use the card for entrances to museums/churches. They never checked our tickets att the Vaporetto. Value for money?

My experience was most good. I had difficultly locating the local partners to collect the tickets. I ended up been sent to 3 addresses with me bn able to pick up the tickets at the 3rd address. But overall my experience was good. I was able to skip the line at the dodge palace. I look forward to exploring venice more over the next 6 months

Thanks we were able to get into all the desired places. Transportation card was great. Only draw back was we could only go one time with each card into the main attractions. It was great anyway. Still had to stand in line for Basilica though - thought our passes could get us through. Thanks

Transportation was a breeze with city pass and skip the line

The transportation pass saves you money and time standing in line to buy tickets. If you ride a couple of times, it’s actually cheaper. The skip the line for the Doge’s Palace worked great and you truly do skip the line and go right in. Highly recommend.

Venice was a blast, ride gondolas, walking over all the bridges, visiting the basillica's that are hundreds of years old and even taking the high speed trip from Rome to Venice was like an additional tour.
