fantastic way to see the Calanques National Park and nearby towns

This e-mountain bike tour is an excellent way to see the Calanques National Park and nearby villages. The bikes were in good order, and the route was great including a mix of beachside streets, walking paths and rocky, hilly hiking paths. I am a regular cyclist with familiarity with riding over rocks and sand but someone with little experience might find the handling a little daunting. You don't have to be in super shape -- the e-bikes work great getting you up the grades. Meeting location was easy to find, and easily accessible by Metro and bus from downtown Marseille. I felt like it was a good value. And we had fun going to the beach across the street to cool off afterward!

Great opportunity to discover the Calanques

This e-Bike Tour is a great opportunity to discover the Calanques in a sporty but not too exhausting way - and even at 36 degree it was okay due to the wind while pedaling. Unfortunately there was an accident in our group before we could even get to the Clanaques and so the route was changed. Anyway, the guide improvised instead of cancelling the tour and we got to know some places around Marseille’s east. Simon was very nice and always tried to give us the best experience. I will definitely think about doing the full tour when back to Marseille one day. Small tip in the end: the place does not have any toilets and it is really difficult to find one during the tour.

Nice activity if you're looking to do something different

NO ENGLISH SPEAKING CREW - but if this isn't a deal breaker for you, then all good. I wouldn't recommend this for families with young children. Great plan for groups of friends or adult families though. I think they allow a bit too many people on each tour. With at least 10 or 15 people less on the boat, the experience would have been better. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

OUTSTANDING, beautiful, educational, and enjoyable experience!

Our guide LEO was most knowledgeable, very passionate about the region, and provided the right amount of freedom to experience maximum enjoyment of the tour. Leo, a native to Marseille, described each site in such a way that we gained far more insight than any tour we have taken in the past 12 years.

Beautiful cruise, but not much English was used.

Everything the Captain and most cruise staff spoke was in French, so we were a bit lost on some of the commands and on a lot of the humor/jokes. I understand that it is in France, but a few commands (and jokes) in English would have be helpful. Overall, still a great experience.
