Full description
Visit the most famous sights of Cairo on a full-day guided tour. A tour representative will meet you outside your hotel for the transfer to Cairo by comfortable bus.

When you arrive in Cairo you’ll be met by an Egyptologist guide and begin your tour of discovery at the Pyramids of Giza. Learn about each of the 3 pyramids, Khufu, Khafra and Menkaure, and then visit the Great Sphinx, the monumental statue with the head of a pharaoh on the body of a lion.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Cairo. Afterwards, your tour continues with a visit to the world-famous Egyptian Museum. The museum houses over 165,000 Egyptian artifacts and the immeasurable riches of the golden treasures of King Tutankhamun are undoubtedly the highlight of the exhibition.

The 6 Tutankhamun gold sarcophagi are found in the main exhibit area, with his magnificent death mask the most important piece of this collection. Your guide will tell you about other top exhibits, and you’ll have plenty of time to explore the museum on your own.

If you’d like to buy some souvenirs of your trip, you might find some items you like when you visit a papyrus workshop and see the production of these works of art.

This tour is fantastic. Real trip through the egyptian history with all important places visits included. Excellently planned and professionally guided by the very eloquent egyptologist, who speaks an excellent English and German language. Everything is enriched with a ton of valuable tips and recommendations, and very good local lunch. You are comfortably picked up from your hotel, travel in a bus of high touristic class and are returned to the hotel after the tour. You can ask the questions all the time and will be assisted in taking a photos by group guides, who are already well trained in that. Worth of every cent paid for it.

The trip was good. Our guide was always ready to help, was kind and made sure we had fun. We visited Egyptian Museum, where they put us up with an English speaking guide that stayed with us through Cairo and Giza, answering our questions and giving us explanations and fun facts about all the sites we saw. Lunch was also quite okay. Overall, a great experience and price-friendly.

It is a shame that more and more time is wasted in "production facilities", but then I hardly had time to grasp and see everything - especially in the Egyptian (old) museum, in Giza on the pyramids, it was probably more important that one for a way of about 2 / 3km booked the camel tour or a carriage, so that I could then enter the tomb of Chephren, i.e. the pyramid, so I did everything myself as far as possible, but will probably have to travel again, since that too Sighting of the boat from Cheops did not take place .... also the hypothermic bus, where I asked several times to turn off the air conditioning, the turn off no.1,11h was to be chilled, from 12h driving time ... although there was outside temperature for the return trip from 16-19 degrees were really bad .... I was not the only guest it was too cold
