What people are saying about Cairo

The tour was amazing. Had a top notch experience! Recommend!

I had a great experience visiting the sites on this tour. The guide, Soliman, is so incredibly knowledgable and was able to answer all of my questions. The driver, Sayed, was wonderful as well and the travel safe and secure.

From Cairo: Pyramids, Memphis, and Sakkara Visit Reviewed by Theresa, 06/01/2019

How can one go to Egypt and not travel to see the pyramids.

Good organisation. Early call in the morning so travel is comfortable at night. Two drivers were excellent. In Cairo the guide awaits you there. The National Museum is great but very busy. Stay close to the group and hope you don't get two ladies who wanted to take pictures of everything thus eating up our time. Lunch was good as well. The Pyramids are spectacular. Beware of the heat though. The trip on the river Nile is not to be missed. Return journey good to, although a bigger bus could make things more comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to pyramids.

Loved our trip to the pyramids. Boat trip was wonderful to our lunch. Guide was amazing. Flights were on time. Awesome day, well worth the money.

Hurghada: Day Trip to Cairo by Plane with Transfers Reviewed by Anonymous, 04/20/2019

Our guide Marwan was absolutely excellent, bringing the past to life

Marwan, our guide really made this tour for us. He was obliging, really informative but also adapted to the pace of the three of us. He brought the pyramids and the Sphinx to life and we got so much out of his background and knowledge as to what we were seeing. Absolutely brilliant experience which I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

Giza Pyramids and Sphinx: Half-Day Private Tour Reviewed by Maurice, 04/18/2019

Absolutely fab...a total must do..highly recommended..thanks Tharwat

Received email confirmation and pick up time the evening before. The agent was waiting in reception at allotted time with our flight boarding passes (outward and return) and then we had transfer in private car to airport. Here security was very strict and extremely slow...2 complete security checks before boarding gate. Allow at least 1-1.5 hours extra time for this. There are no facilities other than toilets. Very short flight with drinks and biscuits. Met at other end in Cairo by tour guide who was easily identifiable. Group consisted of 7 adults. Had our own air con mini bus all day so could leave stuff in bus. Our guide Tharwat spoke good English and was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. We agreed to go to Egyptian Museum instead of Sakkara and were glad we did. Tharwat included this in our original price. The included lunch was in a lovely restaurant overlooking the pyramids. As well as Giza plateau Tharwat took us to visit 2 Businesses (papyrus and oils) and a mall
