There are 2 reasons to the name 1. Dr. Robert Broom a Scottish South African doctor and paleontologist, along side John Robinson discovered the ‘most complete’ australopithecine skull, which they named Paranthropus Robustus, Nickname (“Mrs. Ples.”) .
