What people are saying about Buenos Aires

Wonderful cooking class in a local's home!

This cooking class was one of the highlights of my trip to Argentina! Shirly is a wonderful and kind person and makes you feel very welcome in her lovely home. I felt like I was cooking with a friend. She begins by making Argentinian mate tea for you to try as well as traditional alfajores, which are a type of pastry. She then shows you how to make both beef and corn empanadas completely from scratch, as well as crepes with dulce de leche for dessert. It is very hands on as you do most of the measuring, chopping, and preparing yourself with her guidance. After all the cooking is complete, you get to sit down to enjoy the food you just made. It was delicious! She also gives you a little homemade book with the recipes so that you can make them again on your own back home. The best part of the class was getting to know Shirly, learning about Argentina, and enjoying great conversation and food. She really has thought of everything to make it a lovely experience! Highly recommended!

Overall a good evening, the show was great, food was not that great!

I would recommend to go watch the show. The singers didn’t really have to be there but I guess they tried to make it more like a show. Tango was excellent! Food was not great, I received a cold soup and twice massively overdone steak. Only highlight was that you got an unlimited wine. Tango class was 20 min class with 50 people in the corridor! We had fun but don’t expect an actual class. Overall a good evening though!

A magic night surrounded by tango flavours: music, dance, songs, ...

It is a real special evening supported by an excellent and professional staff that entertain you for a couple hours of magic Argentinian emotions. My wife, my daughter and I enjoyed a lot the generous and tasty dinner, the good Argentinian wine, the short but nice tango lesson and the excellent tango show. It is an experience to be enjoyed for a first journey in Argentina. I highly recommend it.

Dancers excellent, food very good, tango class fun. Go!!!

We went to the tango class at 7:30 before the 8:30 dinner and had a lot of fun. It was not intimidating at all. There were all levels and ages and you danced with whomever was available, man or woman, at the moment. The dinner at 8:30 was very good and better than expected. The show started around 9:30 or 10pm and was fantastic.

Excellent tour to see a different side of BA

The boat ride was very good, they serve pastry and coffee which is very nice. The bus for the hoho needed a bit of maintenance, it does not match the quality of the boat but still an interesting activity to do. Tigre and Delta are Stunning!
