Full description
Budapest features a prominent Jewish history. On this 3-hour walking tour, you will explore the important sites that make up Budapest’s Jewish history.

Often referred to as the “Great Synagogue”, the Dohány Street Synagogue is one of the most significant culture centers in Budapest. You will learn about Budapest’s Jewish heritage at the Jewish Museum and Cemetery, located on the synagogue’s grounds.

After exploring the synagogue, museum and cemetery, your guide will take you to see the Tree of Life Monument at Raoul Wallenberg Park, and the Heroes’ Temple. Both monuments are dedicated to Hungarian Jews who died in World War I and the Holocaust.

Before wrapping up the tour, your guide will take you to explore the Jewish Ghetto, and to view an Orthodox Synagogue. The tour ends at a kosher restaurant, where you have the option of enjoying a traditional Jewish lunch.
