Hearing a European organ was truly a dream for this US church organist

This performance was truly a wonderful experience! As a church organist in the USA, this event was top priority on my list for my 1st experience to Europe & Budapest. I appreciated hearing the pipe organ in all its dynamic settings, from the "great & powerful" organ to the very sweet & soft accompaniment of both voice & flute. The dynamics of the instrument were well shown in great variety. The organist, flutist & tenor singer were all such a thrill! I would recommend this event to anyone! The organist's abilities were truly astounding, and all 3 artists were a very wonderful delight!

We didn't have any problems exchanging our vouchers for tickets to the concert and the ship at the entrance to the Basilica. The organ concert was great, the soloists were too, and then afterwards our hotel ordered two taxis for us to drive us to Buda, where we met more participants. We waited there for 15 minutes to receive further instruction (the hosts had disappeared), then suddenly the responsible parties appeared and shepherded us onto the boat. There, we were greeted with champagne, there was also fine wine along with food and a great all you can eat buffet. A photographer snapped us and wanted to sell us the photos, but this time around we declined :) Since we had taken the same ride with another provider just one day before we enjoyed this ride (which had fewer passengers on it) all the more, since it wasn't so crowded. It was also great that we got to get off on the Pest side, which wasn't too far from our hotel.
