Making the booking and getting there was easy. There were interesting pictures and artefacts to see but overall the palace itself was a little disappointing in that we saw very few of the rooms. Even if not fully redecorated, it would have been nice ro wander the whole space and get an idea of all its history (Not just the Queen Elizabeth era). Also, the English audio would have been better if spoken by a person with an English accent rather than a Hungarian one!

Beautiful palace, and kind staff.

We enjoyed the loan of a wheelchair that allowed our elderly parent to visit too. I had to help the person controlling the tickets to scan my ticket-mobil, but it was with a smile and good will.

To get to your destination from Budapest you need to take the metro plus the H8 train, which stops at all 15 stations before arriving at Godollo castle. With getyuorguide the organization is excellent, including the proposed price
