Full description
Join a full day trip into the world famous Danube Bend and Danube-Ipoly National Park. You will begin with a bike ride to the Nyugati Railway Station of Gustav Eiffel. Here you will jump on a train for approximately 30 minutes to the baroque City of Vác, after which you will be able to follow a 35-kilometer bicycle trail along the Danube.

You will see charming villages along the way, such as Nagymaros and Zebegeny. Enjoy the breath-taking views of the ruins of Visegrad Castle, as well as inviting beaches.

You will then leave your bike in Szob at the Slovak border, before heading to a nearby National Park. In a canoe consisting of 2-3 people, you will then paddle out onto the Ipoly. Depending on the time of the year you will be able dive into the river, and the canoe tour is about 12 kilometers in length and will take approximately 3 hours to complete. Although the gentle river flow will push you forward, you will also have to do some paddling.

After having a short rest you, will return to Zebegeny via a 5-kilometer bike ride. There you will board a ship heading for Budapest/the city center. On the 3-hour boat ride, you will enjoy a fantastic view of the Castle of Visegrad,  Szentendre Island and Szentendre and finally the UNESCO World Heritage protected Danube Bank in Budapest. At the completion of your cruise, you will disembark with your bike before riding the short distance back to Andrassy Street.
