What people are saying about Bucharest

Great evening learning about and sampling Romanian wines

Mihai (Michael) picked me up on time from my hotel and we went to Bucharest’s first wine bar. Our host provided lots of information about the history of wine-making in Romania, what happened during the communist era, and what's happening now. He shared his enthusiasm for wine-making with us, and I learnt a lot about the climate, science and economics of wine. The wines were great and we got to sample many glasses. I bought a lovely bottle of Pinot, though was under no pressure to do so. The traditional sausages and cheeses that accompanied the wine were very nice, too. Totally unhurried and with all questions answered. Highly recommended!

fabulous, The guide Tudor could not be any more knowledgeable.

The tour was fantastic. The guide Tudor was waiting to Greet me with a warm smile. He was very knowledgeable and backed verbal communications up with lots of pictures etc. He frequently checked if I had any questions and took time to answer if I did. Tour actually ran over by 30 mins such was Tudor,s enthusiasm to ensure you had a good tour. In summary fantastic tour and excellent value for money and Tudor is a credit to this company. Thank you

Excellent guide, deep insight to Romanian history and society

We had a fantastic and learning tour in the heart of Bucharest and through the last decades of Romanian history. Even though being too young to have seen it with her own eyes, our marvellous guide, Elena, gave us a very insightful and balanced view of Romania in both the years with communism and the years after the fall of the regime. This is a 'must do' when in the the beautiful capitol of Romania.

Stevan Made our Bucharest trip better by giving us required info

Stefan was extremely knowledgeable about the city and Romania's long history. The tour was quite relaxed and covered all tthe main highlights in the old city and slightly further. Highly recommend visitors taking this short tour as soon as you arrive in Budapest.

Elena, my tour guide was a library of knowledge on the City's history

The tour was supposed to be 2.5 hrs but the tour guide went past 3 hours with so much interesting information and stories about the revolution and life during communism. I highly recommend this tour of Bucharest and Elena the tour guide.
