Full description
Catch a glimpse of the Romanian spiritual life at Saint Andrew Monastery and admire Queen Mary of Romania's castle in Balchik, Bulgaria. The second day of the journey is dedicated to the discovery of the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, with visits to Kaliacra, the Golden Sands, and Varna.

Day One:
Depart Bucharest at 8:00 AM. Visit Calarasi. Cross the Danube River by ferry to Dervent Monastery, St Andrew Monastery, Adamclisi, and Tropaeum Traiani. Have lunch in Eforie. Continue to Vama, Veche, and Blachick. Arrive at your accommodation in Balchik. 

Day Two:
Leave at 9:00 AM. Visit Balchik Botanical Garden and the Royal Residence of Queen Mary of Romania. See Kaliacra and the Golden Sands. Enjoy lunch in Varna. Continue to Ruse before returning to Bucharest.
