Full description
Depart Bucharest and journey towards the Carpathian Mountains on a private day trip to Peleș and Bran Castle. Stop at the small mountain resort of Sinaia as you drive through the scenic Prahova Valley, Romania’s key destination for winter sports.

Continue to Peleș Castle, commissioned in 1873 by Carol I of Hohenzollern, the first king of Romania. Admire its inspired mix of Neo-Renaissance and Gothic Revival styles. Then, journey onwards to Bran Castle, often referred to as "Dracula's Castle" for its rumored links to Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Count Dracula.

Go to the popular tourist town of Brașov, founded by the Teutonic Knights in 1211 to defend the border of the Kingdom of Hungary. Stroll through Council Square (Piața Sfatului) to reach the Old Town Hall, before finishing by admiring the medieval buildings of the square.
