Full description
Bucharest offers its guests a unique array of architectural styles, from varying different ages. You are invited to admire some of the most beautiful buildings of the city, influenced by the Western European architecture. The Military Club was built by the Romanian architect Dimitrie Maimarolu, in 1912; its impressive ballrooms are still used as a refined location for banquets and official events.

The Museum of History, hosted by the Sutu Palace, is a neoclassical building dating back to 1834. Two of the most important artifacts of the museum are the document attesting the existence of Bucharest, issued by Vlad Tepes in 1459, and a sword that belonged to Prince Constantin Brancoveanu, promoter of the well-known Brancovenesc style. These artifacts represent a harmonious blend of Romanian, Byzantine and Western architecture.

This 3-hour guided tour is a chance to see the major masterpieces of the city: The Village Museum (outdoor) or the Museum of the Romanian Peasant (indoor) as well as the Central Library, Kretzulescu Church and Stavropoleos Monastery.
