What people are saying about Brooklyn
We had the 15 minute flight - it was amazing but went too quick - I would definitely book a longer one if I went again! The HeliNY staff were very efficient once we got to the Heliport and there were reassuring safety features, like a safety DVD, weight checks and lifejackets, etc. I think for the price a souvenir photo could have been included, but never mind! We missed the call on the previous day advising us our flight was cancelled/postponed, as they only left a msg at our hotel rather than ringing me direct on my mobile, so it was a bit annoying to have to travel there twice, but it was worth it in the end as the weather was much better on 5th July than it had been on 4th July! All in all I would recommend this tour, as it was so fantastic. I would book there though, rather than in the UK, as it worked out about £15 p.p. cheaper over there, but it depends on the exchange rate at the time.
I bought our pass on-line about a fortnight before we left for New York with my 18 year old daughter. I got an e-mail in reply giving instructions on how to exchange the voucher for the pass when we got to New York. We exchanged ours at Ripleys but which you can do at several attractions in the city. We then had the choice of five out of the sixty odd attractions offered. We chose the Radio City Music Hall, Empire State building, Top of the Rock, The American Museum of Natural History and Ripley's Believe it or not. All were excellent and there were many others we would have liked to have done. New York is quite expensive and to have paid separately for entry would have cost far more than we paid for the pass. Well worth doing.
Excellent end to our honey moon. Gave a whole new perspective to the size of the city after walking around it. We shared the helicopter with another party but were sat so that we could see it together. Helicopter doors are full windows which other providers did not have so we could see the excellent views from both sides.
This was one very best memory. Such a great experience. So worth the money. Fantastic views. Pilot was like a tour guide, so you know where and what your looking at. I got the front seat which made my day. Very professional company, who have everything in order so you get the best time.
In New York, easy to take subway, you can go to Battery Park , pick your boarding pass Ferry ticket to Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Immigration Museum. You should to know which subway line take you to right place. Google map will help you. Central Park is good place for walk.
