I booked this tour for myself and my partner as part of his birthday gift. I would absolutely recommend this tour, our guide was fantastic! We found out a lot of interesting information regarding the history of Milan and the local produce/cuisine. It was a small group consisting of myself, my partner and one other person so we really got a one to one feel. Each place had delicious food, wine and was very varied. Overall we really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it for anyone wanting a traditional and historical insight into Milan cuisine and history.
Our tour with Laura was very enjoyable. She is very knowledgable and passionate about the artwork. We had taken similar tours in Florence at Uffizi Gallery and in Rome. Being with a guide is so much more enjoyable than the headphone tours or just wandering aimlessly. They know how to pick a good cross section of artwork and bring the paintings to life in their time periods by pointing out details that the regular person may overlook. It was a relaxed, very informative tour.
This is a very great experience. My tour guide was amazing! It was very great to learn about the city and Milanese food. Each stop was fantastic. The food was delicious and he was very nice and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn about Milan and the food around the city.
Our tour guide Daniele was very good, but we thought some of the food we sampled seemed a bit too basic. That's probably because we have eaten quite a bit of it over time--including in various places in Italy. For people who are very new to Italian food, this would be a nice experience.
3 hours well spent learning about the Brera area and North Italian food. Our guide was charming and enthusiastic leading through the streets to an excellent selection of local speciality cafes and shops. Group size of 7 was ideal. I think maybe 12 would be too many.
