What people are saying about Boston Light
Ellie was attentive and aware of each one of us as individuals and the ‘group’. On a Rainy cool morning she observed I was getting cold. She pointed out a nice little gift shop near-by on our walk and I bought a sweatshirt. Whew. She spoke with enthusiasm and was professional and fun. The tour content was good. Combination of current interests and glorious History of the past. I am now inspired to dig a little deeper and read more about a few areas of interest in more detail. Food was fab. We went back for seconds the next day. Loved the time she took to send us the Recap of the day to tuck away in our memory stash.....and be inspired for ‘the next time’.
Our tour guide was great, we learned a lot from what we could hear. There was a school/camp that day we went and most of the kids was on some type of technology talking and laughing while the tour was going on, we have to repeatedly ask them to keep quiet. I would probably try it again one day when school is back in session.
The app worked great, no issues, the digital voucher worked fine as well. The trip was just right in that it covered the high lights and when the guide worked around you could ask him more questions. The vessel was clean and well presented with a friendly crew, I would highly recommend this tour
I received an invoice saying my cruise was 45.59 but I paid 56.50 on June 4th when I called for tickets. The charge is on my capital one visa. I do not know anything about get your guide. Why the discrepancy? That is 11.91 over charge. We live on a fixed income.
Had a great time on the cruise. It is a great way to see some of the history of Boston and it's surrounding islands. The narration was very well done and informative. We went in February so there were no crowds at all which I prefer.
