We only had a day in Tasmania and couldn’t be happier to have taken this day trip. We visited big tree country, taking a short hike through the trees with wildlife (pademelons, birds, a platypus) and waterfalls. We hand fed kangaroos, took pictures with a koala and a wombat, and watched a Tassie devil feeding at Bonorong. Bonorong is amazing! Lunch was at the quaint town of Richmond which had gin/whiskey tastings, a candy shop, scallop pie, and a beautiful park near the water with the oldest active bridge in Australia. The day ended on Mt Wellington with a gorgeous view of Hobart and Tassie. We loved learning so much about Tassie while experiencing it. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

This was a neat little day trip and it was exactly what I was after given my short stay in Hobart. Jarrod was super friendly and informative and was always happy to have a chat and answer questions. The small group made the experience personalised and tailored to each person, which was a nice touch. There was plenty of time at each location, so I didn't feel rushed and got to really kick back and really explore Richmond, which was perfect. Would definitely recommend this trip if you aren't in Hobart for long and/or if it's your first time to Hobart.

Great day tour, so much to see. Jarrod was a very good guide and his knowledge and information as we toured around made it a unforgettable day. Being dropped off at the top of Mt Field and walking down through the tall tree forest and waterfalls was a lovely way to see the park. Bonorong was very good to get up close to some wildlife. Richmond was nice to walk around and have some lunch. The views at the top of Mt Wellington were spectacular even though the clouds rolled in.

We were planning a road trip ourselves but unfortunately had to book day tour as we couldn’t find any rental car. I m glad so, couldn’t imagine myself driving to the summit of Mt Wellington, the view was stunning, we also get to enjoy Mt Field and getting close with the animals, highly recommended if you don’t have enough time spending in Tas or too lazy to plan/drive. Let the professional do the job, you won’t regret!

Good combination of mountains, waterfalls, animal sanctuary and historic town. Russell Falls is surprising in its height,. The sanctuary has a vet service that can be viewed from form outside..that was great. The view of Hobart from Mt Wellington is stunning. And Richmond is in a time warp. Thanks for the day.
