Had awful weather when I went, rain mist and fog so can’t really give a true review as unable to see all the beautiful scenery. However, there was still a certain beauty walking through some of the bush walks in the rain forest. Had a really helpful driver on one of the Hop on, Hop Off buses who went out of his way to tell me things and even stopped to show me a LyreBird.

The smoky conditions in the Blue Mountains meant the number of stops had to be curtailed and therefore full use of the ticket was limited. Scenic World was open though and time there was well spent. Credit to the bus company for offering food/ drink voucher without charge as compensation for disruption caused through no fault of their own.

The bus drivers were informative. Some of the route was diverted due to road slippage.. nobody’s fault. However felt we didn’t get best use of hop on/ off as the bus finished early. Would have thought the most popular place would be Scenic World, which closed around 5.30pm, last bus from here was 4.30 pm, so we ended up having to walk back into Katoomba! There was so much walking within Scenic world, we only used bus twice.
