This tour was fantastic for Downton Abbey fans & UK history buffs.

My daughters and I really enjoyed the Downton Abbey Film Locations & Blenheim Palace Day Tour. One of my daughters and I are big fans of the Downton Abbey programs and enjoyed seeing many places used to film the series. My other daughter really enjoyed the visit to Cogges Farm and Blenheim Palace. The driver did a wonderful job keeping us safe and on time to each location. There was a bit of stress at the beginning of the tour as the driver was slightly late arriving to meeting location. We did not know there were multiple pick up points for tour and another one of those would have been more convenient and closer to our lodging. The guide, while enthusiastic about all things Downton Abbey, was a bit of a braggart about all she had seen/done during the filming of the series and since. At first this was exciting but our enthusiasm for it waned long before the end of the tour. I would certainly recommend this tour for others but would also prepare others for similar experiences.

Liked Oxford missed Stow-on-the-Wold webpage out of date.

Great weather that day which made the trip through the countryside very enjoyable. Entertaining guide, lots of interesting info, personal and factual. Could provide more background info on the bus to allow more time to explore at location. Charming driver, handled the bus well. Saw main features and had a bit of time to explore. There is only so much you can do in one day! Some disappointment as I chose the tour for the focus on the Cotswolds which I booked online. However, the "new tour" included Oxford and left out Stow-on-the-Wold. New bus, very comfortable. No WiFi. Lunch was a sandwich, water, chips and a cookie? Not enough time to have a proper lunch in a cafe. Can't go wrong seeing historical Oxford and Blenheim Palace, along with beautiful old villages. Good use of the time for one day.

Karen is a real pleasure to be with, and a terrific guide.

Our guide, driver and vehicle were all first class. We had a great day, and saw everything. Karen knows how to make the trip special, and arranged special access and was keeping us on schedule, so we could visit the chapel at Windsor. She is a real professional, and interesting.

A one-day adventure tour with a well-prepared and friendly tour guide.

Many thanks to the tour guide who guided the group with very thorough knowledge and great empathy. He seemed to not only know but love this countryside. The tour was well organized, providing wonderful experiences, getting to know the past and present along the way.

Absolutely fabulous place to visit. Amazing history, beautiful gardens

This is a must see palace. We had no idea how big it was, the depth of history relating to this wonderful building and it’s beautiful gardens. Winston Churchill must have loved growing up here as it would have been a magical playground.
