Full description
Make your way to Québec's Berthier-sur-Mer marina and climb aboard a boat to explore the Isle-aux-Grues archipelago and island on the St. Lawrence River. Enjoy a guided cruise of the archipelago, including a stopover on the Isle-aux-Grues — the famous last refuge of the Quebec artist and painter Jean-Paul Riopelle.

Learn about the lives of the islanders through stories told by Lachance captains. They know the archipelago better than anyone else. Considered extraordinary storytellers, they will relate the fabulous story of the islanders with passion.

Upon arrival at Isle-aux-Grues, take a guided tour of the island by ecotrain. A guide will explain its history and geography as you tour. Hear about the wildlife, architecture, history and culture of the island and archipelago and experience an adventure like no other.

Important information
Know before you go
Please note that the Berthier-sur-Mer Marina is located about 45 minutes from Downtown Quebec City.

Boats depart on time, so please arrive at the ticket booth 30 minutes before departure.

Rain Policy: Unless the weather presents a danger to the security of the passengers, cruises are not canceled due to rain. There is always an enclosed area on the boat.

Wheelchair policy: "Foldable" wheelchairs are OK, but unfortunately electric wheelchairs cannot be accepted as the ramps and stairs on the boats are too steep with the tides.
