Van groot historisch belang bij het ontstaan van de DDR. De Frankfurter allee werd, na de bezetting van de Russen, de Stalinallee. Later werd en is nu nog altijd Karl Marxallee. Deze allee moest visitekaartje worden voor de nieuwe DDR worden en zijn. Langs beide zijden prachtige, imposante gebouwen in typische architectuur. Desondanks opvallend weinig interesse van toeristen, wat op zich helemaal niet erg is. Prima en interessante rondleiding per voet van Tobias. Enthousiaste gids die veel achtergrondinformatie geeft. Echte aanrader voor geïnteresseerden van de DDR-geschiedenis.

Eine sehr gute und informative Tour. Vielen Dank nochmals an Herrn Schwabe, der uns mit seinen unterhaltsamen Kenntnissen trotz des miserablen Wetters tapfer bis zum Kino International geführt hat und sich seinen Optimismus nicht nehmen ließ. Selbst als Berliner seit 1962 war mir vieles neu und den Jüngeren in unserer Gruppe ohnehin. Weiter So !!!
