Visit the Altes Museum without queuing and get to see one of the most important Neoclassical buildings. Be enchanted by the columns, the wide vestibule and portico. Marvel at the murals of the rotunda – modeled after the Pantheon in Rome.

Admire the antique collection with its permanent exhibition on the art and culture of the Greeks, Etruscans and Romans. See sculptures such as the Berlin Goddess as well as gold and silver jewelry under the sky-blue ceiling of the treasure chamber.

Discover the coin collection with more than 1,300 items from antiquity. See the first gold and silver alloy coins as well as those from the crisis years of the Roman Empire.

Children and young people up to 18 years of age receive free admission and can accompany adults without a reservation.

Discounted tickets are only valid together with the appropriate identification.

The first floor is open at 11:00.

The checkout closes 30 minutes before the museum closes.

The building complex is fully wheelchair accessible. There is barrier-free access via the service entrance (Am Lustgarten). Please contact the gatekeeper.
