What people are saying about Belgrade
Our guide Dragana couldn't have been better - her English was fantastic and I have no idea how she retains so much knowledge!! And how she explains so much without it ever getting boring! It was easy to find her at the start of the tour and at the end she took us back into the city centre so we knew where we were. Afterwards she also gave us loads of restaurant recommendations which turned out to be delicious too! I learnt loads about Yugoslavias history and a lot about the culture - Dragana was happy to answer any and all questions we had about the country, related to communist history or not. I cannot recomend enough, especially for the price - you would not be able to get a tour this fantastic for this price in the UK!
Online booking was seamless and quick, email correspondence, directions and timing for pick up was spot on and our guide Nikola was a great guy giving lots of information and very pleasant. Recommend this sunset cruise to all families and friends who want to just hang out on the Sava and Danube for a nice evening, catch up with each other and enjoy Belgrade views and some cool information. We had a great time and appreciate the efficient service offered. Thanks, Aditya
I was alone; I did not even have a cell phone that day. Alexander went above and beyond taking care of me and being sure that I did not wander off or get lost. It was an incredible day. I would simply say that athletic shoes are the only shoes one should wear during this adventure. There is a lot of walking to be done and many steps to climb. It is all worth the effort. I would do it again, but this time I know which shoes to grab!
Beautiful things to see and explore. I just kept thinking how I should have listened more during history classes! Don't miss this trip. I am from the USA. While listening to our guide, Sara, it was astonishing to see and hear the Serbian story unfold from centuries of conflict rather then from a couple hundred years as is the history of America. Sara was an excellent source of information. I enjoyed the day.
Our guide was very eloquent in depicting the Communist period in Yugoslavia. We also saw parts of Belgrade that we wouldn't have seen by ourselves. The tickets also includes entry to the Museum of Yugoslavia, which doubles as Tito's grave, and a great place to learn more about this communist leader. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Serbia's recent history.
