Full description
Join other fans of the show on this day tour which visits iconic locations from Season 1 to 7.

The first stop will be the picturesque Inch Abbey, which is a large 12th century ruined monastic site and an example of early Gothic architecture. Following the news of Eddard Stark’s death, the North decided to bend the knee to their own Northern King. This is the ruin where King Robb ‘The young wolf’ was crowned ‘The King in the North’.

Next up is Tollymore forest park – Ireland’s oldest pine forest also known as the 'Haunted Forest'. See the very place where the Dire Wolf pups were discovered and where the White Walker ambush took place. This stunning woodland in the heart of the ancient ‘Kingdom of Mourne’ is most famous for the place the Starks first found their Dire Wolf pups. Other scenes include the mysterious Wildling massacre from episode 1. You’ll also see Jon and Tyrion’s tree where they discuss life at the Wall.

Lunch will be taken at a traditional Irish pub with quality good value Irish themed food in a private dining room (not included). You will also get a chance to meet Thor or Odin, the dog actors who played the Starks' direwolves.

Next its on to Castle Ward estate, an 18th century mansion noted for its unique architecture with its historic farmyard having been used as the location of Winterfell. You’ll see the gateway to Winterfell’s court yard plus over 20 locations portraying Westeros, from the Riverlands to battle fields and more. Memorable scenes include Jamie and Brienne of Tarth leaving Rob’s camp on their way to Kings Landing. You’ll see the notorious Twins home of Lord Walder Frey, Tyrion and Bron’s first meeting after their trial in The Eyrie. View the tree under which King Rob Stark and Tulisa said their wedding vows.

This is the final location before it’s time to escape back to Belfast and to your own world before any more chance of harm befalls you.

Madeleine was our tour guide and was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. As she had taken part in the show she had some amazing stories to share with us. Coming to the end of our tour we were lucky enough to bump into a friend of Madelines who had an incredible piece of armour that was used in the final episode. We were very lucky as it wasn't planned and we happened to be there at the right time. Shout out to freddy who kept the bus warm for us. We did this tour in November so you can imagine how cold it was. Again brilliant tour couldn't recommend it highly enough

The whole day was incredible. The information about each place and the experience of the tour guides being an extra on the show was an added bonus. The national Park was magical, the photo opportunities immense and meeting the direwolves was incredible. Loved the stories told and loved hugging the dogs. It was great! I recommend doing this tour.
