Uffizi gallery and walking tour Florence...We loved our Guide!!

Two tired adults, two tricky teenagers and a wet August Tuesday in Florence (apparently the worst possible day to visit a gallery) was not a good combination for a great day out. But thats exactly what we had! The wonderful and gorgeous Julia our Guide made the Italian renaissance and the fabulous and flawed Medici family come to life! She pitched her tour and her stories perfectly despite a large group and a crowded museum and Florence being packed to the max... we learned so much without even realising it, and we were still discussing the dozens of great stories the next day. It was the absolute highlight of our trip to Tuscany and one we will never forget... Julia also had the officials eating out of her hand wherever we went thanks to her excellent grasp of Italian and immense patience and charm. What could have been another day of grumpy kids and stressed out adults turned into a wonderful experience, and if we are lucky enough to return we will book Julia at Get your Guide.

The best tour we have ever been on! Ever!

Julia was our guide and she was phenomenal! Her knowledge was incredibly impressive. She taught us so much, tied everything together, and gave us the details and the big picture. I can't believe how much we learned from her. We had taken a Vatican tour a couple of days prior and we thought our tour guide was great. And she was good. But she didn't even touch Julia's abilities. If you can get Julia as your guide you really should. She's the best! As for the Uffizi, it was amazing and definitely worth seeing. The city tour was also awesome. We went to the Basilica of Santa Croce and wow, what was in there to see was incredible. I won't give any spoilers away but we are so glad Julia took us there. We learned a ton and it was all very interesting. This tour was fabulous!

This was well worth the price; a terrific learning experience.

Our tour guide (Julia) was exceptional. I had studied art in Florence for 6 months, and I learned more from her in 6 hours than during my studies. She was incredibly knowledgeable- I highly recommend this tour. I usually do not fill these surveys out, but given how satisfied I was with the tour, I felt an obligation to submit a review. We did the full day walking tour - Uffizi, Santa Croce and the Accademia. Even my teenagers thought it was great.

Massimo provided a wonderful tour of Pisa and Florence

Massimo provided a wonderful tour of Florence and Pisa. They met our cruise ship, were on time and got us to Pisa before all the cruise ship busses showed up. Next they took us to Florence were we saw all the major locations followed by a pickup and quick return to our cruise ship. I would use them again as well as possibly use them for a land tour in the future.

The tour leader was excellent, but the organisation very poor.

The location of the meeting point was changed without notification. That resulted in a lot of confusion and we unfortunately joined the tour 15 minutes late. The guide was excellent and the tour was very enjoyable. But I suggest that you make better arrangements about the meeting points and communicating changes with customers.
